Welcome back to another tutorial on building AI tools! This is an advanced tutorial, so if you have not built any other AI/GPT integrated ALGOs, please check out Your First AI Tool: Leverage GPT to Build Patient Education Tools first.
AvoMD is on a mission to revolutionize clinical care by providing clinicians with the power to create practically any clinical tool they need at the point of care. With the rise of Large Language Model (LLM) and LLM-integrated software, many AI-assisted note taking tools are emerging. For instance, đȘGlass Health (https://glass.health/ai/) takes the clinical representation of a patient (e.g., â68 year old male with history of coronary arterial disease, presenting with right arm and leg weaknessâ) and gives you a draft of comprehensive text on differential diagnosis (DDx) or clinical care plan (A/P).
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create an ALGO that takes clinical representation, and generates differential diagnosis or the clinical care plan (A/P) based on your choice, which can be copy and pasted into your clinical notes. Weâll call this ALGO âđȘ”Wooden Health: Clinical Plan and DDxâ (pun intended). Letâs get started!
To create a new project, follow these steps:
Everyone loves to create. However, creating something isn't much fun if the creator doesn't receive proper recognition. How would you feel if you spent years writing an academic paper and later found that your name wasn't included?
When you finish building your ALGO, it's important that you're recognized as the creator. Let's see how we can help you with that. (If you're not interested, you can skip this section and simply click "create" to proceed to the editing screen.)
